Dental schools want to see students exhibit an ability to handle a rigorous course load. That being said, there is no required major for pre-dents to choose; instead, choose a major that best reflects your academic strengths and interests!

When developing your academic plan, be sure to account for dental school requirements, major requirements, and graduation requirements. Additionally, consider adjusting your schedule to prioritize courses that may help you prepare for the DAT before taking it.
